Angels Care Services is one of the fastest growing home care companies in South Wales. After expanding from an initial presence in the Vale of Glamorgan into Cardiff their business doubled. With further accreditation in other areas of South Wales expected they required a facelift. The company managed to achieve its rapid rise with limited branding and basic corporate imagery. Autografik were hired to aid them in identifying a brand which would represent the respectful, compassionate and professional experience they offer those in their care.
As Angels Care had very little in way of fixed branding finding a response meant finding a consistent communication device to advance the company forward. With such a specific and emotionally lead set of brand values Autografik had to create an image that would reflect and strengthen the company’s already existing reputation and personality.
A logo with accompanying corporate stationary and carefully selected typography for print material and web based content was produced. The logo incorporates a heart, formed from a number of icons which represent people – the most treasured element of Angels Care. It is placed to the upper right of the company name playing on the core brand values of the company strap line “care, companionship & compassion”.
As with all rebranding and branding projects a brand manual was produced to help Angels Care work with their new branding effectively and to gain the most from it. Autografik also helped to develop Angels Care’s web presence and brand consistency through consultation with web-partners Jojet.
For Angels Care, the business, rebranding had an effect internally and externally. Within the business the staff now have a standard and structure to represent while the brand values offer a criteria for future recruits. Externally the company look more professional and have a brand to match their status as a major player in Home Care. They are now planning expansion into new locations and potentially into new markets.
